Full-Time Nanny | Twin Boys (2 Years Old)
Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan (77th Street & 2nd Avenue)

Compensation: Starting at $35/hour + overtime (W2 Position)
Hours: 47.5 scheduled hours weekly (Guaranteed 42.5 hours per week)
The Heirloom Agency is partnering with a warm, professional family on the Upper East Side seeking an experienced, engaging, and proactive career nanny to care for their energetic 2-year-old twin boys. Both parents have demanding careers that require occasional travel, and they are looking for someone who can become a dependable, long-term member of their family.
The twins are curious, adventurous little boys who love exploring, staying active, and spending time outdoors. The family is seeking a nanny who genuinely enjoys toddlerhood, has excellent judgment, and can confidently manage two active children while creating a structured, loving, and enriching environment.

August – Mid September (School Transition)
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PMOne evening each week: Stay until 7:30 PM to assist with dinner and bedtime.
Beginning in September, the boys will gradually transition into their 2's preschool program. During this adjustment period, the nanny will continue working the morning schedule while supporting the family's evolving routine.
Beginning Mid-September
Monday–Friday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PMTwo evenings each week: Stay until 7:30 PM for dinner and bedtime coverage.
The family reviews the upcoming week's schedule together each Sunday evening and values flexibility and open communication.

The twin boys are 2 years and 2 months old and are happy, healthy, and incredibly active. They love being outside, exploring playgrounds, attending toddler gym classes, reading books, engaging in imaginative play, and participating in hands-on activities.
They currently:
Attend a toddler gym each Friday morning nearby.
Will begin a neighborhood 2's preschool program three mornings per week in September.
Nap once daily around 12:30–1:00 PM.
Eat a wide variety of foods with no known allergies.
Are beginning potty training later this summer.
Have one bedtime bottle each evening.
One child has a history of febrile seizures, so the family is looking for someone attentive and experienced who is comfortable carefully monitoring fevers and administering medication (such as Tylenol) under parental guidance if needed.
The family follows a no screen-time philosophy and prefers a nanny who enjoys keeping toddlers engaged through conversation, creative play, books, music, outdoor adventures, and developmentally appropriate activities.

Responsibilities include all aspects of childcare, including:
Providing attentive, loving care for both children
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
Daily outings to neighborhood playgrounds, Central Park, library programs, classes, and local activities
Picking up the children from school (starting in September)
Preparing healthy meals and snacks
Managing nap routines and bedtime on designated evenings
Supporting potty training when developmentally appropriate
Children's laundry and light household duties during nap time
Preparing children's meals
Cleaning and organizing the kitchen after meals
Tidying children's bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces
Keeping toys and supplies organized
The family values a nanny who uses excellent judgment, is proactive, and takes initiative without requiring constant direction.

Has professional experience caring for twin toddlers
Is confident managing two active children independently
Is energetic, engaging, patient, and nurturing
Enjoys spending time outdoors and planning enriching activities
Is organized, dependable, and proactive
Has strong communication skills
Is comfortable with occasional domestic travel
Is willing to work a flexible schedule when needed
Is CPR certified
Is legally authorized to work in the United States

Two weeks paid vacation annually
One week selected by the nanny
One week selected by the family
